Finding Local COVID 19 Help
Getting help during a pandemic can be frustrating. There is so much informtion out there many get frustrated even figuring out where to start.
We've noticed quite a few resources popping up online for local COVID-19 information in Vancouver, WA & Clark County.
Some of them are quite good, some not so much. Below is a list of some great resources that really can help.
Keep reading because we've also included some ideas and tactics to help you get your vaccine sooner than later.
City of Vancouver has the best list of Covid 19 resources. Their Local Resources section includes Clark County Public Health , Business Assistance , Utilities & Hardship Help , Emergency Shelter , Housing Assistance & the Clark County Food Bank .
They also have a great selection of local COVID 19 resources just for Families, which includes links to Vancouver & Evergreen School Districts, WIC Nutrition Assistance , Parent help & reporting Child Abuse .
The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce also has a worthy COVID 19 list
Finding & Getting Your COVID 19 Vaccine in Vancouver Washington
Vaccine distrubution in Clark County Washington is mostly by appointment only and most people already know that the Clark County Public Health is the first place to look for scheduling your vaccination. Be sure to use their COVID-19 vaccine request webform , just be aware that there are thousands of people in our area that are seeking vaccine and it may take awhile before they contact you with an appointment.
Luckily CCPH has partnered with several of the major heath care providers in our area, including Vancouver Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital & Providence Health. Each of these providers has their own methods for scheduling appointments to recieve COVID-19 vaccine.
Don't stop with just calling CCPH. There are plenty of other providers to contact, here is the list.
