Yoga Nidra

Why this resource is helpful:

Quoted From: http://willamettevalleypoweryoga.com/schedule-2

"Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping (like the "going-to-sleep" stage) induced by a guided meditation. It promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn't found in your average meditation or yoga practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat, pillow/blanket for maximum comfort and an eye mask (optional). There are no poses in Yoga Nidra, the entire class takes place lying down."
