"Fora Health is the new brand identity of De Paul Treatment Centers launched in July 2021. Fora Health builds on De Paul Treatment Center"s nearly five decades of excellence, innovation and experience providing trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies for youth and adults with the goal of building healthier individuals, families and communities. Fora Health offers the full continuum of care and believes that everyone possesses the innate ability to recover and improve their health and well-being. We collaborate with a network of community partners to build health equity, increase system efficacy and develop programs that are culturally responsive and lasting. Fora Health is dedicated to providing access to care, investing in programs that reduce barriers to participation and welcoming everyone, regardless of their background, orientation or ability to pay.

Before becoming Fora Health, De Paul was already one of Oregon"s oldest and largest providers of residential and outpatient treatment for adults and youth struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. De Paul"s original mission was to create freedom from addiction for individuals, families and communities. Our organization was founded by the Portland Society of St. Vincent de Paul in 1974 to serve men with alcohol use disorder, and we became an independent, secular 501(c)3 nonprofit agency in 1977. More than 40,000 people have received life-saving treatment at Fora Health / De Paul since opening our doors.

In 1984, Fora Health / De Paul"s programs were expanded to include female patients. In 1985, Fora Health / De Paul opened the De Paul Youth & Family Center in NE Portland, a residential treatment program serving adolescents ages 13 to 17 with substance use disorders.

Each year, over 2,000 adults and youth receive compassionate, comprehensive care for substance use disorder at one of Fora Health"s three locations: Fora Health Adult Center in Downtown Portland, Fora Health Youth & Family Center in NE Portland, and the Fora Health Hillsboro Outpatient Clinic. The Downtown Portland facility and the Youth & Family Center also provide treatment for co-occurring mental health issues. 81% of the patients we serve qualify for Medicaid. We serve all of Oregon and our neighbor states, with most patients residing in the Portland Metropolitan Area."
