Healing Light Yoga refers to the healing power of the sun. It is said that one can gaze at the sun safely when it is touching or below the horizon. This happens at sunrise and sunset. At other times of the day, it is not safe to look directly at the sun for long periods of time.
It is said that gazing at the sun in this manner is safe and it is an ancient healing practice, in Ayurveda, and in my opinion, it was also known in long-forgotten cultures.
My recommendation for healing any disorder is to be outside in the sun, relax, and drink pure water. Keep a peaceful mind. The rays of the sun will purify and heal the body. The water will flush and clean the body. The mind will relax, and the life-giving power of the sun and water will lift the spirit, cleanse the body of impurities, and heal disease processes."
