"Rarely does our culture provide for us the framework to process and understand our emotions and ourselves; this stifled emotion can hinder our ability to find meaning in our lives and often manifests as depression, anxiety, and other painful realities. I will give you the space to access new ways of understanding your story and connecting to yourself by bringing awareness to your emotional experience. Often our emotions speak to us through our bodies and I may also work with you to tune into your body in order to further understand yourself.The philosophies of existential-humanistic and narrative therapies are woven into my work as a therapist. I practice narrative therapy, experiential therapy, and emotionally focused therapy. I also integrate techniques from internal family systems (IFS), somatic therapy, mindfulness, and other therapeutic modalities in order to best fit your needs."
