Megan is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner treating adults ages 18-65 and adolescents on a case by case basis. Megan spent the beginning of her career doing inpatient psychiatric consultations for patients in local Emergency Departments, Intensive Care Units and medical floors. Megan opened her private practice in Vancouver, WA in 2016 with the goal to establish long term rapport with patients and their families. Megan is specialty certified in perinatal mental health with attention to pre pregnancy medication planning and antenatal/postpartum women's mental health. Megan has additional experience treating an array of diagnoses, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, trauma, and sleep disorders.

The primary goal of Megan's practice is psychiatric medication management. She employs brief psychotherapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, and Motivational Interviewing techniques, but does not treat patients solely for therapy. Most of Megan's patients have a collaborating therapist.

Megan grew up in the heat of Arizona, but finally considers herself a local Northwesterner. Her hobbies include swimming, boating, wakeboarding, keeping aquariums and listening to true crime podcasts. She looks forward to assisting you on your journey to health!
