"Being mindful of stress can help in tremendous ways to bring good to you, your body, mind and spirit. Lessening tense, hard triggered areas in your life can bring peace and open up yourself to new things when maintained. It's worth spending a minimal amount of time to do this for the benefits you can receive.
Identify triggers and how stress manifests for you. Example, does it make you anxious, tired, irritable?
Slow down. Try to take more time in your daily activities, let yourself be ok with taking more time to do things.
Give yourself a break. Go to the bathroom, stretch, etc. Move around every 90 minutes if you are sedentary during the day.
Be mindful of your breathing. Are you deep breathing during the day? Are you sleeping with your mouth open? These all affect the amount of oxygen you get (parasympathetic system).
Bring awareness to your surroundings. Try spending more time outdoors, walking, in nature. These all help reduce the stress response."
