Diagnostic investigations at Dr. Knackstedt's office could include hearing testing, endoscopy of the nose, sinuses, or voice box, or a microscopic examination of the ear drum. It is possible that a minor surgical procedure would be offered at the time of your visit, such as nasal cautery, sinus wash or drainage of fluid from behind the ear drum."
