"FR is a specific manual connective tissue therapy utilized to effectively treat problems in connective tissues such as muscles, tendons, nerves, ligaments, joints, etc. Functional Range Release technique is a comprehensive system of soft tissue assessment and treatment that was designed using the most current scientific knowledge. An FR practitioner will assess the quality and movement of the joints and connective tissue to locate limitations of movement and problematic connective tissue tension. The practitioner will then apply force or tension into the tissue with their hands in order to make connective tissue remodeling changes. This specific form of treatment reduces abnormal tissue tension, increases tissue resiliency, and increases joint and connective tissue range of motion which helps reduces pain, and improves overall function."
