"Brief services (14 days) are designed to achieve stabilization with families in crisis in order to avoid unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations. During the 14-day crisis stabilization period, CCS provides an array of in-home support services including crisis response, safety/crisis assessment and treatment services. Through a wraparound framework, extended family, community and natural resources are combined with more traditional mental health services to bring about safety, stabilization, and community integration. Services are available twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week.
Children"s High-Intensity Services
Intensive services are designed to work with children/youth with chronic, complex mental health needs and their families to improve safety and stabilization in the home, school, and community. Typically a family that has been involved in services with a traditional mental health provider may seek more intensive services that are provided through a wraparound approach. Services are available twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week and include in-home wraparound support services, therapeutic foster care home-based stabilization, care coordination, skills training, resource development, medication management, and care planning.
Treatment Foster Care (Family Partnership)
We provide temporary treatment foster care for children/youth needing placement. Our treatment foster parents are a resource to support the timely transition of children/youth to their permanent homes. Foster parents are trained to partner with birth families, as approved by the DCFS social worker, and may assist the birth family with mentoring, parent coaching, parent/child visits, and other shared parenting activities."
