"Men and women share a lot of similar mental health issues and concerns. Throughout history and in our our world today, woman have unique challenges, responsibilities and social norms to navigate. The weight of these challenges are often heavy and in many cases unfair. Women are often disproportionately affected by mental health issues, and face greater exposure to traumatic events. Treatment of those mental health issues and traumatic events can differ from that of men, as many women are misdiagnosed and symptoms may differ from that of men."
