Anusara Yoga was created in the late "90"s by John Friend, and has since become a non-profit style of yoga available world-wide. The style focuses on building body-mind awareness, strength and flexibility using a heart-centered, non-judgemental approach. In Sanskrit, "anu" means "with" and "sara" means "flow." The term Anusara means "with the flow", and the intention of Anusara Yoga is to flow with grace from the heart.
