Transition From Childhood To Adolescence

Why this resource is helpful:

Quoted From: https://www.reverietherapy.com/adolescents

"The transition from childhood to adolescence is a big developmental leap. Teens are discovering and exploring their identity in the midst of their families and peers. Separation is salient to their experience. A big responsibility for parents and caregivers is providing spaces for their teens to get help with this stage of life. Therapy and counseling can be a great space for teens to gain understanding of their experience and explore issues of identity and difficult emotions and feelings. Therapy can give teens tools to focus, relax, think through difficult situations and and manage emotions. Being able to explore and discover an identity true to one"s self sets teens up for a truer experience and more meaningful life in adulthood."
