"About Us
LGBTQ Pride in Clark County has a history. In 1993, a group met for the first time to celebrate the lives and history of the LGBTQ Community in SW Washington. As a result in 1994, Saturday in the Park was born. Our first events were held down near the Red Lion Inn at the Quay. It began with a small group of people and quickly turned into a larger support system and celebration of life.
The Early Years
Those early years saw the start of what is now "Saturday in the Park". Vancouver USA Pride and its members have worked to raise funds for local charities and have been a cooperative sponsor of educational workshops for LGBTQ families and their children assisting them in understanding all that is needed to travel to other countries and assisting those families in safe travel experiences.
What We Do
Vancouver USA Pride provides entertainment throughout the year, raises funds for charities, and offers supportive connections for the LGBTQ population in Southwest Washington. You can make a difference in our local lives through volunteering and sharing your knowledge and experience. Please join us during your free time! It"s amazing how incredible the experience can be."
