"XChange Recovery has been working diligently alongside people fighting addiction in Washington State. We strive to help people overcome their addiction, rebuild their lives and restore their families. Once they establish their own recovery, they are able to walk alongside others and give back to their community. Showing others that "we do recover" is an important component of our mission. People regain their own lives and then make a difference in others lives as they lift up the banner of recovery.

In 2013 approximately 167,000 people residing in Washington state over the age of 12 were dependent on illicit drugs. 1,503 of these people died due to opioids in 2016, these are deaths that could have been avoided if those people had access to a network of people in recovery. According to the Department of Heath Clark and Cowlitz Counties have an average of 81 deaths per year due to drug overdoses. Each of these deaths are someone"s loved one, no one aspires to grow up to be dependent on drugs, feeling hopeless, not knowing how to stop. Everything we do is an effort to change these hard facts, and to stop the vicious cycle of people dying to become a statistic. We are here to instill hope into every addict, alcoholic lost in their addiction, hope that they never ever have to be alone or to use again- all they need is to follow a few simple rules, and their life will change dramatically. Before they know it they will have all the inside stuff they never even dreamed was possible, like integrity, trust, honor, respect and love.
Through the Xchange, those seeking recovery receive the love and help they need to turn their lives around."
