"Meditation can help reduce stress, tension, frustration, anxiety, anger.

These are all negative emotions that not only impact how we feel emotionally but also how we feel in our body. It is somewhat surprising and yet not at all surprisng that we store emotions in our tissues, and that when we get a massage or start a new movement practice these emotions can release for us to process them.

During this meditation, you will learn mindfulness techniques to tune into particular areas of your body, and perhaps some of these areas where you store your emotions. Learn to contract certain muscles and engage them, and then actively release these areas to create a sense of deep relaxation.

This meditation will teach you how to release the negative emotions that have been stored in your tissues so you can emerge more relaxed and healthy."
